Any ideas on recalling an email sent with "do not deliver before" time set, as I can't see it in my sent items!?

From the single "XXX wants to recall message YYY" email followed by a flood of "Recall failed" messages over the next 48 hours (from other Outlook users?) that recently showed up on a mailing list I am subscribed to, in at least some situations this will only make your original blunder even more obvious than it was...

There certainly is a way. Right click on the bottom right toolbar that says Sending/Receive status and hit "Cancel Send/Receive". That stops it, then feel free to delete or modify the e-mail.

Thanks for the great advice! Is their any way to stop transmission of a message that is hung up in the outbox (started transmission) because the file is too large?
